Abstract: The goal of this study is to identify those communication variables that are most effective in increasing the following in regard to workplace violence prevention: worker awareness, comprehension, and use of recommendations in the workplace. The proposed study will explore the effect of message framing, issue involvement, & argument quality on the persuasion of aworkplace violence prevention messages and its effect on thereceiver's attitude, intentions, and behavior over time.
