Abstract: FCC rules permit the display and advertising of radio frequency (RF) devices prior to equipment authorization or other determination of compliance with the rules, provided that the advertising or display contains a conspicuous notice as specified by the subject rules. In addition, any RF devices offered for sale in this matter must be accompanied by a written notice that is disclosed to third parties that the equipment is subject to, and will comply with, the FCC rules prior to delivery.
