Abstract: This information is needed to meet the data collection requirements imposed by amendments to the Social Security Act by the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) and the Balance Budget Act of 1997 for the Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Tribal TANF) program. The information will be used to calculate work participation rates required by PRWORA. The respondents are Federally Recognized Tribes with an approved TANF program.
