Abstract: In order to protect the switched telephone network from unintentional seizure and dialing and user's from unintentional ringing, the Commission requires that cordless telephones incorporate digital security coding. An attestation of compliance and the means and procedures used to ensure the required protection must accompany any application for authorization that is filed for the subject equipment.
