Abstract: The continued collection of this information will allow the Environmental Protection Agency to carry on enforcement of the Clean Air Act by reducing emissions of class I and class II refrigerants to the lowest achievable level during the service, maintenance, repair, and disposal of appliances. An applicance means any device which contains and uses a class I and class II substance as a refrigerant for household or commercial purposes. The respondents to this collelction request include technician certification programs, equipment testing organizations, refrigerant wholesalers and reclaimers, and other establishments.
