Abstract: On December 18, 1997, the Commission released Memorandum Opinion and Order and Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in CS Docket No. 97-248. This rulemaking addressed Ameritech New Media, Inc.'s, petition for rulemaking relating to amendments to the Commission's program access rules and sought public comment about proposed amendments to these rules. On August 10, 1998, the Commission released a Report and Order in CS Docket No. 97-248 which amends the Commission's program access provisions and modifies information collection requirements accounted for in this collection.
