Abstract: The Commission is requesting that local exchange carriers submit data on costs for outside plant structure and cable. The information will be used to assist the Commission in developing appropriate input values for calculating the foward-looking economic cost of constructing certain network facilities needed to provide services that will be supported by the Federal universal service support mechanisms. The data request is voluntary.
