Abstract: Medicated feeds are administered to food producing animals for disease prevention and treatment and for increased/improved performance. Compliance with current good manufacturing practice regulations provides assurance that these feeds will be safe and effective when used as directed and not cause unsafe residues in the edible products of treated animals.
