Abstract: The Commission is requesting ABC, CBS, and NBC television networks to submit information regarding the experiences of their owned and operated stations in the preemption of children's television educational and informational programming due to the broadcast of live network sports events. The Commission will use the information to prepare a report on the effect of preemption. These reports will provide the Commission with a more complete and accurate analysis of the effect of preemption.
