Abstract: CC Docket No. 90-337 implemented rules making it easier for U.S. carriers engaged in international telecommunications to negotiate lower accounting rates. Simple reductions in rates are made pursuant to a notification approach and other changes are subject to the International Settlements Policy (ISP) modification approach. The information is used for monitoring and enforcement purposes.
