Abstract: The public notice sets forth procedural requirements and policies relating to the Commission's processing Bell Operating Company applications to provide in-region, interLATA services pursuant to section 271 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended. All of the requirements are used to ensure that BOCs have complied with their obligations under the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, before being authorized to provide in-region, interLATA services pursuant to section 271.
