Abstract: Section 73.62 requires AM stations with directional antenna systems to measure and log every monitoring point at least once for each mode of directional operation within 24 hours of variance of operating parameters. Data is used by station engineers to correct operating parameters and by FCC staff in field investigations to ensure stations are in compliance with technical requirements of the Commission's rules.
