Abstract: The NDRR provides the Health Plan Purchasing and Administrative Group (HPPA) with information required to effectively monitor and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of the HMO/CMP program and to provide technical assistance to HMOs/CMPs as appropriate. This insures the protection of Federal investment and enrolled members of HMOs/CMPs. Additionally, the NDRR provides statistical data for continued regulation.
