Abstract: On 12/31/96, the Commission released a MO&O, FCC 96-491, which modified certain rate regulation filing requirements contained in section 76.922. Cable operators may now adjust their permissible rates in their next rate filing to reflect the rates the operators would currently be charging if they had been permitted to include increases in external costs occurring between September 30, 1992, and their initial date of regulation reduced by inflation increases already received with respect to those costs. All other information collection requirements reported under this control number remain intact.
