In addition, ACF agrees to provide OMB with periodic updates regarding the progress of the study. The Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey will provide a comprehensive profile of the experiences of a representative sample of families and children during their enrollment in the Head Start program and in kindergarten. Information about family demographic characteristics, engagement in Head Start activities, and outcomes for children will be collected. In addition, Head Start program staffing patterns, training, and activities for families will be documented and related to family experiences.
