Abstract: DFARS part 217 (48 CFR part 217) prescribes policies and procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services through the use of special contracting methods. This information collection is necessary to: (1) identify sources of supply to enhance future competition; (2) under a master agreement, ensure that the contractor is adequately insured and evaluate requests for reimbursement for damaged material accountable under the agreement; (3) evaluate requests to change the place of performance under contracts for dairy or bakery products; and (4) evaluate proposals for over and above work on existing....
