Abstract: Applications for permits and subsequent reports are required from persons requesting approval to take actions otherwise forbidden by the Marine Mammal Protection Act, the Fur Seal, or the Endangered Species Act for the purposes of scientific research and enhancement, public display, or commercial or educational photography. Approval is also needed to undertake Level B harassment of marine mammals.
