Terms of Clearance: The burden costs were revised to reflect the proper filing format. This collection will be used to administer new 800 MHz SMR licenses. In addition to the items specifically mentioned in the supporting statement to this collection, the FCC's requirements contained in the First Report and Order to PR Docket 93-144 and Eighth Report and Order to PP Docket 93-253 are also approved -- specifically information required when requesting partitioning of an area and records maintenance needed to support small business status claims.

Abstract: The FCC requires certain information from licensees in order to determine whether they should be granted or, in the case of 800 MHz Specialized Mobile radio licensees, retain authority for additional time to construct their radio facilities; it also requires information to determine how licensees' radio facilities have been modified. It also requires demonstration that licensees have provided notification of intent to relocate certain incumbent licensees. It requires information about prospective licensees in order to determine whether such licensees are entitled to special provisions as a small business.
