Terms of Clearance: Approved with the conditions that BATF will prepare written to the OMB Desk Officer: 1) by April 1997, findings concerning the appropriateness of the current reporting threshhold for annual and monthly reporting (see item # 7. of the narrative statement), 2) by April 1997, progress on achieving major milestones required to meet the electronic receipt of producer data by late 1998 as mentioned in item # 3 of the supporting statement, and 4) by April 1998, a second progress report meeting the objectives of item # 3 of the supporting statment, Finally, we have corrected item 13 e. of OMB Form 83-I to 710 hours which we have explained as an adjustment.
