Terms of Clearance: The FCC shall include filing fees as an annual cost of complying with the requirements of this information collection. These were calculated using $565 per filing times 4797 annual filings. Additionally, the FCC should take positive steps to allow filers to use electronic media for filing. There are no legal barriers that would preclude use of electronic filing (either direct or using media) for this collection. The FCC should also consider elimination of the microfiche filing requirements when this collection is submitted to OMB for review in 1997.
