Abstract: This collection will allow NOAA to distinguish between prohibited coral species taken illegally in waters of the U.S. Caribbean and prohibited species harvested elsewhere and imported for sale in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Dealers receiving legal coral must identify the vessel and individual that harvested the coral, the date and port of landing, and similar information.
