Abstract: SECTION 76.607 REQUIRES CABLE SYSTEMS TO ADVISE SUBSCRIBERS ONCE EACH CALENDAR YEAR OF PROCEEDINGS FOR RESOLUTION OF COMPLAINTS. ALSO REQUIRES THAT RECORDS BE MAINTAINED ON ALL SUBSCRIBER COMPLAINTS. THE DATA IS USED BY LOCAL FRANCHISING AUTHORITIES TO ASSESS CABLE SYSTEMS' PERFORMANCE AND TO ENSURE THAT QUALITY SERVICE IS BEING PROVIDED TO SUBSCRIBERS.
