Abstract: INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EPA'S NATURAL GAS STAR PROGRAM. NATURAL GAS STAR IS A VOLUNTARY PROGRAM WITH THE NATURAL GAS INDUSTRY DESIGNED TO REDUCE LEAKS AND LOSSES OF NATURAL GAS FROM THE DISTRIBUTION, PRODUCTION, AND TRANSMISSION SECTORS. THE PRIMARY COMPONENT OF NATURAL GAS IS METHANE, A POTENT GREENHOUSE GAS.
