Abstract: ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS, TRIBAL ROLLS, AMERICAN INDIANS, ALASKA NATIVE THE INFORMATION FROM THE SURVEY WILL BE USED BY THE CENSUS BUREAU TO EXAMINE WHETHER THE USE OF ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS, SUCH AS TRIBAL ENROLLMENT RECORDS, CAN IMPROVE COVERAGE OF AMERICAN INDIANS AND ALASK NATIVES IN THE 2000 CENSUS. ALL FEDERALLY-RECOGNIZED TRIBAL GOVERNMENTS WILL BE CONTACTED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS.
