Abstract: THIS REPORT COLLECTS INFORMATION ON DEBITS TO SELECTED DEPOSIT ACCOUNT FROM A SAMPLE OF COMMERCIAL BANKS. DEBITS INFORMATION IS USED IN FORMULATING BANKING AND CREDIT POLICIES. THESE DATA ARE ALSO USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER DATA TO INTERPRET MONEY-STOCK MOVEMENTS AND TO DETERMINE THE TURNOVER RATE OF DEPOSITS OF VARIOUS SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY.
