Abstract: THE TYPE OF GRAPE WINE MAY BE DESCRIBED ON THE LABEL BY USING THE VARIETY NAME OF THE GRAPE FROM WHICH THE WINE IS MADE. THE NAMES OF GRAPE VARIETIES ARE BEING FORMALLY LISTED IN REGULATIONS TO ASSURE THE ACCURACY AND CORRECTIVENESS. THIS LISTING WILL PROVIDE CONSUMERS WITH THE MOST ACCURATE AND TRUTHFUL INFORMATION AND STANDARD NAMES.
