Abstract: SECTION 76.911 REQUIRES COMPETING VIDEO PROGRAMMERS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION REGARDING COMPETITOR'S REACH AND NUMBER OF SUBSCRIBERS WHEN REQUESTED BY CABLE OPERATORS. THIS INFORMATION IS USED BY CABLE OPERATORS TO REBUT FRANCHISING AUTHORITY'S CERTIFICATION THAT CABLE SYSTEM IS NOT SUBJECT TO EFFECTIVE COMPETITION. FCC WILL USE THE INFORMATION TO RESOLVE DISPUTES CONCERNING EFFECTIVE COMPETITION.
