Abstract: THE AMENDMENT PROVIDES FDA WITH NECESSARY ADDITIONAL MONITORING BY IMPOSING BASIC REPORTING AND RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS ON MANUFACTURE OF LASER PRODUCTS THAT ARE INTENDED TO BE FURTHER INCORPORATED WITH OTHER COMPONENTS TO FORM A FINISHED LASER_ PRODUCT. PRIOR TO THE AMENDMENTS, REPORTING AND RECORDKEEPING APPLIED ONLY TO MANUFACTURERS FINAL LASER PRODUCTS.
