Abstract: THE MAINTENANCE RULE REQUIRES LICENSEES TO ESTABLISH GOALS FOR STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS, AND COMPONENTS (SSCS) AND MONITOR PERFORMANCE, CONDITION, AND AVAILABILITY OF THESE SSCS. LICENSEES MUST EVALUATE, DO PERIODIC ASSESSMENTS, AND KEEP RECORDS OF THESE ACTIVITIES. NRC IS ENDORSING THE INDUSTRY GUIDANCE IN NUMARC 93-01 TO SUPPORT THE INFORMATION COLLECTIONS IN THIS PERFORMANCE RULE.
