Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by ED's 3/31/93 memorandum to OMB, In addition, E shall clarify the "Background of Programs" section on p. 2 to increase the usefulness of the instructions. Specifically: -- In line 6 of the first paragraph, the word "student" should be changed to "students". -- The last sentence of the second paragraph should be rewritten to state what the program is emphasizing now, rather than what the progra does not emphasize: "The current emphasis of the program is how to structure and focus student interest in community service on opportunities that will benefit both the student and the community."
