Abstract: THE 1992 CENSUS OF FINANCE, INSURANCE, AND REAL ESTATE WILL MEASURE TH ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OF APPROXIMATELY 1.7 MILLION ESTABLISHMENTS CLASSIFIED IN SIC DIVISION H. THE ECONOMIC CENSUSES, AUTHORIZED BY TITLE 13 U.S.C., ARE A PRIMARY SOURCE OF FACTS ABOUT THE NATION'S ECONOMY. ECONOMIC CENSUS STATISTICS SERVE AS PART OF THE FRAMEWORK FO THE NATIONAL ACCOUNTS AND PROVIDE ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR GOVERNMENT
