Abstract: THE FINANCIAL CONDITION STATEMENT IS USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE REGISTRANT HAS MADE ADEQUATE ARRANGEMENTS WITH RESPECT TO PERSONNEL, FACILITIES AND FINANCING. THE NEED FOR THIS INFORMATION AROSE AFTER SUCCESSIVE FAILURES OF BROKER-DEALERS WHO WERE POORLY PREPARED TO ENTER THE BUSINESS. RULE 15B1-2 WAS ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1953.
