Abstract: THE MOTOR VEHICLE RECYCLING PROGRAM REQUIRES SERVICE TECHNICIANS TO NOTIFY EPA ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN CERTIFIED AND HAVE PURCHASED APPROVED RECYCLING EQUIPMENT. THE AGENCY MUST REVIEW TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS AND EQUIPMENT TESTING PROGRAMS. TO INSURE COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 609 RECORDS INVOVLVING REFRIGERANT SERVICE MUST BE MAINTAINED.
