Terms of Clearance: This information Collection Request is approved with the following conditions, as required by 5 CFR 1320.13(g). EPA must revise and resubmit the ICR if the monitoring, reporting or recordkeeping requirments are changed in the final rule. The revised ICR should insure that the information requested by EPA is the least burdensome necessary, and is not duplicative of other information otherwise accessible to the agency (see 5 CFR 1320.4(b)). Abstract: STATE AND LOCAL AIR POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCIES ARE REQUIRED TO OPERATE AMBIENT SAMPLERS. AGENCIES ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AMBIENT AND QUALITY ASSURANCE DATA TO EPA QUARTERLY FROM DESIGNATED SITES IN URBAN AREAS A SUMMARIES OF ALL AMBIENT DATA ANNUALLY. DATA ARE USED FOR COMPLIANCE DETERMINATIONS, CONTROL ANALYSES, AND FOR PLANNING AND EVALUATION.
