Abstract: FORM 8743 IS USED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON FUEL INVENTORIES AND SALES THIS FORM ENABLES IRS TO MONITOR THE EXCISE TAX LIABILITY FOR ALL TAXABLE FUELS (IRC SECTIONS 4081, 4091, 4041 AND 4042). THE FORM WIL BE FILED BY REFINERS, IMPORTERS OR TERMINAL OPERATORS.
