Abstract: THE NHANES I EPIDEMIOLOGIC FOLLOWUP STUDY, NATIONAL LONGITUDINAL FOLLOWUP, INVESTIGATES RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN BASELINE FACTORS AND SUBSEQUENT MORBIDITY, MORTALITY, HOSPITAL UTILIZATION, AND INSTITUTIONALIZATION.
