Abstract: THIS PROGRAM SUPPLIES THE KEY MEASURES OF MANUFACTURING ACTIVITY FOR CENSUS YEARS. ITS RESULTS ARE WIDELY USED AS BENCHMARKS FOR OTHER STATISTICAL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE BUREAU OF ECONOMIC ANALYSIS' ESTIMATES OF THE GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE ANNUAL PUBLICATION "INDUSTRIAL OUTLOOK."
