Abstract: AN EXPANDED TEST OF THE FORM 1040EZ-1 WILL BE CONDUCTED AMONG A SAMPLE OF TAXPAYERS FROM TEXAS, RHODE ISLAND, AND WASHINGTON WHO WOULD ORDINARILY FILE A STANDARD FORM 1040EZ. THE TEST IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE TAXPAYER INTEREST IN THE FORM 1040EZ-1 FOR POSSIBLE NATIONWIDE USE.
