Abstract: THESE FORMS WILL BE USED FOR THE "LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIRECTORY" PHASE OF THE 1992 CENSUS OF GOVERNMENTS. THIS SURVEY COLLECTS DATA ON THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN THE U.S. THE RESULTS ARE USED TO CONSTRUCT THE UNIVERSE OF GOVERNMENTS FOR SUBSEQUENT PHASES OF THE 1992 CENSUS OF GOVERNMENTS.
