Abstract: SECTION 941 OF P.L. 101-625 ADDS A NEW SECTION 6 TO RESPA. SECTION 6 REQUIRES A LENDER OF A FEDERALLY RELATED MORTGAGE LOAN TO GIVE THE LOAN APPLICANT A STATEMENT DISCLOSING CERTAIN INFORMATION AND REQUIRES HUD TO ISSUE A MODEL OF THAT STATEMENT. HUD ALSO PREPARES A MODEL FOR THE NOTICES OF ACTUAL TRANSFER OF SERVICING WHICH SECTION 6 NOW REQUIRES SERVICERS TO ISSUE.
