Abstract: TO PROVIDE THE EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE BRANCHES IMPROVED STATISTICS ON INCOME DISTRIBUTION AND DATA NOT PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE ON ELIGIBILIT FOR AND PARTICIPATION IN GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. CHANGES IN STATUS AND PARTICIPATION WILL BE MEASURED OVER TIME. THE DATA WILL SUPPORT POLIC AND PROGRAM PLANNING. ALL PERSONS 15 YEARS OLD AND OLDER IN SAMPLE HOUSEHOLDS ARE INTERVIEWED.
