THIS ASSURES A DISINTERMENT PRIVILEGE IS GRANTED TO AN AUTHORIZED PERSON OR ONE WHO INITIATED THE INTERMENT. AS A CONTROL MECHANISM THIS PREVENTS INDISCRIMINATED REMOVA OF REMAINS FROM NATIONAL CEMETERIES SINCE INTERMENTS ARE CONSIDERED PERMANENT AND FINAL.
