Abstract: THE RULES REQUIRE RECORD MAINTENANCE BY A STATE OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR SEC. 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION ISSUING TAX-EXEMPT BONDS ("ISSUER") TO REIMBURSE ITSELF FOR PREVIOUSLY-PAID EXPENSES. THIS RECORDKEEPING WILL ESTABLISH THAT THE ISSUER HAD AN INTENT, WHEN IT PAID AN EXPENSE, TO LATER ISSUE A REIMBURSEMENT BOND.
