Abstract: EPA IS REQUESTING OMB APPROVAL TO CONDUCT A SURVEY DURING THE 1990-1991 SCHOOL YEAR IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF RADON CONTAMINATION IN THE NATION'S SCHOOL BUILDINGS. THIS SURVEY IS REQUIRE UNDER SECTION 307 OF THE INDOOR RADON ABATEMENT ACT OF 1988. APPROXIMATELY 1,200 PUBLIC SCHOOLS NATIONWIDE HAVE BEEN RANDOMLY SELECTEC TO PARTICIPATE.
