Abstract: THE 1990 HUCS INVOLVES A NATIONWIDE SAMPLE OF 60,000 HOUSEHOLDS. APPROXIMATELY 12,000 OF THESE HOUSEHOLDS WILL BE CONTACTED FOR A FOLLOWUP INTERVIEW OR OBSERVATION AND 3,000 FOR A QUALITY CONTROL REINTERVIEW OR OBSERVATION. THE DATA ARE USED TO EVALUATE THE COMPLETENESS OF THE 1990 CENSUS.
