Abstract: RULE 15B3-1 FIRST ADOPTED IN 1936, IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE ACCURACY OF BROKER-DEALER APPLICATIONS THAT ARE FILED WITH THE COMMISSION ON FORM BD. FORM BD PROVIDES GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE BROKER-DEALER THAT IS USEFUL TO THE COMMISSION AND PUBLIC INVESTORS.
