Abstract: SINCE TURNOVER OF OUR FIELD REPRESENTATIVE WORK FORCE CAN REDUCE DATA COLLECTION COSTS, ONE GOAL OF THE CENSUS BUREAU'S STRATEGIC PLANNING IS TO REDUCE TURNOVER. INFORMATION COLLECTION IN THE FORM OF AN ATTITUDE SURVEY OF A SAMPLE OF OUR FORMER FIELD REPRESENTATIVES SHOULD HELP IDENTIFY ATTITUDES AND DEMOGRAPHICS ASSOCIATED WITH TURNOVER AND THIS, IN TURN, SHOULD ALLOW FOR BETTER-INFORMED MANAGEMENT
