Abstract: RULE 15CA1-1 PROVIDES THAT EVERY GOVERNMENT SECURITIES BROKER OR DEALE THAT IS A REGISTERED BROKER OR DEALER MUST FILE WRITTEN NOTICE WITH TH COMMISSION ON FORM BD THAT IT IS AND WHEN IT CEASES TO BE GOVERNMENT SECURITIES BROKER OR DEALER. THIS INFORMATION IS NECESSARY FOR THE COMMISSION TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF GOVERNMENT SECURITIES BROKERS AND DEALERS.
