Abstract: THE SURF CLAM/OCEAN QUAHOG ALLOCATION TRANSFER LOG IS REQUIRED BY THE SUBMISSION OF AMENDMENT 8 TO THE SURF CLAM/OCEAN QUAHOG FISHERY MANAGEMENT PLAN. THE AMENDMENT IMPLEMENTS A SYSTEM OF MANAGEMENT USIN INDIVIDUAL TRANSFERABLE QUOTAS. THE TRANSFER LOG WILL TRACK TRANSFERS OF ALLOCATION AMONG THE SURF CLAM/OCEAN QUAHOG INDUSTRY.
