Abstract: THIS INFORMATION COLLECTION IS NEEDED TO FULFILL EPA'S RESPONSIBILITY UNDER THE CLEAN AIR ACT FOR ENSURING THAT MOTOR VEHICLE COMPLY WITH FEDERAL EMISSION STANDARDS THROUGHOUT THEIR USEFUL LIVES. INFORMATION GAINED (PRIMARILY FROM INDIVIDUAL VEHICLE OWNERS) IS USED TO CONDUCT A PROGRAM WHICH VERIFIES VEHICLES' COMPLIANCE WITH THE STANDARDS.
